As we close in on the end of 2025, I’d like to take some time to reflect. It’s been a year of fantastic personal growth. I got faster. I bought a food processer. Love proves elusive, but I am kept warm by you, my loyal shoppers. Your inability to find a wine I gave you not two days earlier gives my life texture, and for that I am grateful. I can only return the favor by maintaining my sterling streak of brilliant Wine of the Month selections.
This month we’re featuring Las Tres Filas, an elegant red made from 100% Mencia. Mencia is native to the Bierzo region in Northwest Spain, which is known for producing intense, fruity dry reds. Soft tannins and violet aromas lend this wine complexity and structure, and it pairs perfectly with savory winter dishes.
