The temperature is rising and demand for chilled, organically farmed reds & crisp whites have hit a fever pitch. We’re so inundated with requests that we’ve decided to make it easy for everybody and feature one of each.
Perigord is a region in southwest France known largely for its truffles and foie gras, and this Bordeaux-style blend is a worthy counterpart to the local cuisine. This medium-bodied Merlot boasts ripe fruit and subtle tannin, and drinks best with a slight chill. For the white, we’ve chosen a Pinot Blanc grown on the left bank of the Rhine in Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine region. This lively dry white delivers gorgeous notes of citrus & peach, and pairs perfectly with fresh salmon and seafood. Plus you can tell your friends it’s from Rheinhessen and blow them away with your worldliness. Two great options at an incredible value. I’m not going to tell you how to live, but why not try both? |
