Gonna level with you folks: I don’t know everything. Sure I may seem capable. Headstrong. Like the guy who knows all the angles re wine and cheese. But if you had asked me a few weeks back if the Marcillac region in SW France produces medium bodied reds with hints of spicy pepper and cassis from their native Mansois grapes, I would have guessed and said “yeah, totally” and pretended to be super busy and had to help the deli or something.
But that was the old me. Now that I’ve tried Tandem, I can confirm that my guess would have been correct, yet morally compromised. This lovely certified organic red taught me both the joy of discovery and the spiritual corrosion that comes with being a know-it-all. It probably won’t teach you all of that, but it would be perfect for a late-summer BBQ. |
